During this period of school closure we continue to be open for provision for vulnerable pupils and children of key workers. Irrespective of any closure or collaboration with another school, the safeguarding of all our children remains our top priority. At this time, our school will continue as normal in supporting our vulnerable children and if anyone has any questions regarding this they are asked to make contact with Mr Burbidge. Please contact the school if you have any queries.
Welcome to Blue class
Blue Class have had a fantastic first year at Banstead Infant School. We began by becoming expert builders. We built homes for the Three Little Pigs and experimented with building a strong bridge for the Three Billy Goats Gruff to trot over. In the spring term we planted our own beans and watched them grow. Sadly they did not grow into giant beanstalks so we could not go exploring magical lands but we did enjoy making a fearsome giant for our classroom! During the summer term we learned about lots of different ways of travelling.
One of our favourite stories was ‘Mr Gumpy’s Outing’ by John Burningham. We were lucky enough to go to Brooklands where we saw many different kinds of vehicles. We even got to go on Concorde!
