Our topic this term has been NIGHT.
Pink Class found out about the first man on the moon and had great fun pretending to be astronauts and journeying in to space!
10....9....8....7....6....5....4....3....2....1....BLAST OFF!
We found out about the space shuttle Apollo 11 and worked hard to design and make our own rockets.
And have read and wrote our own space poems.
We also had great fun reading lots of space adventures and even met some weird and wonderful aliens!
Pink Class looked at a famous night time picture by Van Gogh. It is called Starry Night.
We used pastels to recreate how Van Gogh had painted the light of the stars in the night sky.
We have enjoyed finding out about animals that come out at night time and have made some models of nocturnal animals out of clay. Can you think of any other nocturnal animals?
We really enjoyed our topic of night.
